– Extraordinary
Grave journalist about Norway and Epstein:
The American investigative journalist Vicky Ward has covered convicted rapist Jeffrey Epstein for over 20 years. About Norway and Epstein, she says: – It is absolutely extraordinary.
Ward is in Norway in connection with the Skup conference in Tønsberg and reflects on the number of Norwegians who have appeared in the Epstein case.
– One can argue that of all the countries in the world, it is Norway that has experienced the most extensive consequences of the documents, says Ward to Aftenposten.
Epstein’s Norwegian network has not gone unnoticed abroad.
Earlier this year, Crown Princess Mette-Marit was featured on the cover of Der Spiegel together with, among others, Epstein himself, Trump and ex-Prince Andrew.
“Many of those who have benefited from Epstein’s largesse argue that his generosity comes without strings attached,” Ward wrote in 2003.
– Well, now we know that the exact opposite is the truth, she says to Aftenposten.
In 2008, Jeffrey Epstein was sentenced to 13 months in prison for buying sex from minors.
In 2019, he was arrested again and charged with sexually assaulting dozens of underage girls between 2002 and 2005. According to the indictment, Epstein is said to have recruited a large network of minors, some as young as 14.
Epstein was found dead in his cell a few weeks later, and the cause of death is stated to be suicide.

Exploring Documented Records
Public interest in the Epstein case continues not only because of court proceedings and testimonies, but also due to the growing body of documented records that help researchers and readers understand the broader context. Beyond legal files and media reports, some independent projects have organized publicly available data connected to Epstein’s activities.
One example is a structured archive of documented Amazon order records, where purchases are cataloged with dates and product details. While individual items do not prove wrongdoing on their own, examining documented information alongside established facts helps paint a clearer picture of the environment and circumstances surrounding the case.
For readers looking to review primary-source style data rather than interpretations, exploring compiled records can provide additional context to the broader discussion.
