Prince Andrew Spotted for the 1st Time After Arrest for Alleged Misconduct Tied to Jeffrey Epstein

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor made a rare appearance in the weeks after his arrest.

Andrew, 66, was spotted on the grounds of England’s Sandringham Estate on Saturday, March 21, while walking his dogs, according to photos obtained by People. The former Duke of York dressed casually in a hoodie during his walk with the pets and a bodyguard.

Last month, Andrew was arrested on his 66th birthday for alleged conduct tied to his relationship with the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office,” Thames Valley Police Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said in a statement at the time. “It is important that we protect the integrity and objectivity of our investigation as we work with our partners to investigate this alleged offense. We understand the significant public interest in this case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time.”

Authorities believe the disgraced royal allegedly passed confidential British government information to Epstein, who died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in August, 2019, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles in October 2025, has not publicly addressed the accusations. He was released from police custody within hours of his arrest.

While Andrew has been laying low in the wake of his arrest, his brother King Charles III publicly issued a statement regarding his sibling’s alleged crimes.

“I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office,” Charles, 77, said in a statement. “What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and cooperation.”

The king concluded, “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”

Andrew previously stepped down from his royal duties in 2025 amid his continued associations with Epstein and allegations of child sex abuse.

“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew said in an October 2025 statement shared with Us Weekly. “I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.”

Andrew’s statement continued at the time, “With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

Andrew was accused of sexual assault by the now-late Virginia Giuffrewho claimed that they were set up by an associate of Epstein’s. Andrew denied the allegations before settling with Giuffre out of court for an undisclosed sum.

Exploring Documented Records

Public interest in the Epstein case continues not only because of court proceedings and testimonies, but also due to the growing body of documented records that help researchers and readers understand the broader context. Beyond legal files and media reports, some independent projects have organized publicly available data connected to Epstein’s activities.

One example is a structured archive of documented Amazon order records, where purchases are cataloged with dates and product details. While individual items do not prove wrongdoing on their own, examining documented information alongside established facts helps paint a clearer picture of the environment and circumstances surrounding the case.
